ROD STEWART announced as the first act to sign for the Liverpool Summer Pops Festival 2010

CMP Entertainment in association with AEG are proud to announce singing legend, ROD STEWART, as their first act for the Liverpool Summer Pops Festival 2010. More acts will be announced over the coming weeks. Tickets for Rod Stewart, who plays the Echo Arena, on Wednesday 21st July 2010, will go on sale 9am on Friday 29th January 2010. Celebrating it’s tenth anniversary this year, Pops organiser Chas Cole said “This is a really special year for the Liverpool Summer Pops Festival, not only is it our tenth anniversary this year but we have been trying to bring Rod Stewart to Liverpool for a decade so this is really exciting news.” Tickets for Rod’s summer tour are selling out at an incredible rate, further cementing Rod’s ever-popular reputation as one of Britain’s biggest live draws.
